Much has happened in the past month of Premier League. Bolton beat Manchester City, Arsenal lost to Stoke City, Aston Villa, and Manchester City. Arsenal also beat Chelsea and Liverpool. Liverpool has become in the first place after Chelsea lost to Arsenal.

This is my opinion of which players played best this month.

Mark Schwarzer_Fulham

Jose Bosingwa-Chelsea  Jamie Carragher- Liverpool Phillip Jagielka- Everton Gael Clichy- Arsenal

Stephen Ireland-Manchester City  Deiberson Geovanni- Hull City

Cristiano Ronaldo-Manchester United         Johan Elemander- Bolton

Nicolas Anelka-Chelsea  Jermain Defoe- Portsmouth

whats your team of the month?

Premier League Derby: London!

November 27, 2008

This weekend not only is there the Manchester derby, but also a London Derby. Not any London derby, but one between two of the big four: Chelsea vs. Arsenal.

Arsenal have been in poor form lately, they has their captain stripped of his position and a bad press stint. There was supposedly many dressing room fights. Arsenal lost to Aston Villa and Manchester City in their last two games.

Chelsea are not in the best of form themselves right now. They tied Newcastle United last weekend and they tied Bordeux in the Champions League. This puts Chelsea in a vulnerable position because to qualify, now, for the Champions League they must beat Cluj (who they tied last time).

My prediction Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal

Premier League Derby: Manchester!

November 27, 2008

This weekend both Manchester teams in the Premier League will face off. Manchester City have beaten Arsenal last weekend 3-0 while Manchester United tied Aston Villa. It will be interesting to see who will win. If Man U lose it could mean a top four spot for Manchester City.

My prediction Manchester United 2-0 Manchester City

Premier League: Chelsea

Ashley Cole

Ashley Cole

There have been recent reports that Manchester City are preparing a mega 60 mil euro swoop for John Terry. Now it has been stated that there are rumors that City are preparing a big deal to take Ashely Cole away from Chelsea.

Are City trying to buy Chelsea?

should Chelsea be worried?

Me myself am no too worried about man city buying John Terry, he seems to have values and morals. Now Ashely Cole on the other hand is known to flow to where ever the money is at. He has no sense of belonging or commitment. I love the way ashley plays, he is a great left back. But i am worried City will take him from Chelsea and this will harm his career (in my opinion.)

Premier League: Manchester United

Alex Ferguson

Alex Ferguson

Alex Ferguson has publicly stated that he will quit his managerial role if Cristiano Ronaldo does not win the Balon d’ or. This either means that fergie is so confident that ronaldo will win or he is looking for excuses to quit.

Is it more than a competition of one player’s reputation and fame?

should man u fans be worried?

Premier League: Liverpool

November 24, 2008

Liverpool’s Yossi Benayoun appears to be unhappy at his current role at Liverpool. Last year he received mixed review. He scored a total of 11 goals. In those he had a pair of hat tricks in the champions league tournament. He had a great positive influence for Liverpool, most notably when he made and set up Torres’ equalizer at Stamford Bridge.

I always thought of Yossi Benayoun as Liverpool’s second best and second most influential midfielder, after Gerrard. There were some games were he had little to do, however in some games he looked like the most confident and solid play maker in the premier league.

He is threatening to leave Liverpool if he continues to stay on the bench even though Rafa Benitez has stated to the press that he wants Yossi to stay.

Premier League: Arsenal

Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas named new Arsenal captain. The 21 year old midfielder was named skipper after Arsene Wenger stripped the captaincy from France veteran, William Gallas.

Gallas recently had a bad press stint and Arsenal has been in a bad from run for a few weeks.
